Occupational Safety and Health Training (2 days)

Objectives

Occupational Safety and Health training is designed to educate individuals in the workplace about the principles and practices that promote safety, health, and well-being. By having this training it may help to prevent unnecessary accidents by identifying and mitigating workplace hazards, reducing the occupational health risks through awareness of harmful substances and proper use of protective equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and etc. Furthermore, the training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for emergency preparedness, encouraging swift and effective responses to potential crises.

Target Audience

The target audience for Occupational Safety and Health training course includes executive, middle management, senior manager, employees in High-Risk Industries and safety officers. This to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive approach to workplace safety.

Module 2: Emergency Preparedness and Response

  • Development of emergency response plans
  • First aid training and procedures
  • Crisis management and evacuation strategies

Module 3:  Safe Work Practices and Procedures

  • Best practices for using tools, machinery, and equipment
  • Development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Workstation setup for safety and efficiency

Module 4: Continuous Improvement and Safety Culture

  • Encouraging a proactive safety culture
  • Methods for ongoing monitoring and evaluation
  • Implementing a culture of continuous improvement in safety measures

Day 2:

Module 5: Employee Health and Well-being Assessment

  • Conducting health risk assessments for employees
  • Identifying lifestyle factors impacting the health
  • Strategies for promoting the holistic well-being of employees 

Module 6: Building The Positive Working Relationship for Health

  • The importance of positive relationships in promoting health independently 
  • Communication skills and conflict resolution
  • Team-building exercises for a supportive work environment 

Module 7: Health and Safety Communication Strategies 

  • Effective communication of health and safety information
  • Utilising the clear signage and communication tools
  • Interactive communication methods for health promotion

Module 8: Work-Life Integration and Health

  • Strategies for achieving work-life balance and promoting health
  • Flexible work arrangements for improved well-being
  • Supporting employees with personal and family responsibilities

Cancellation & Transfer

Please note that should this registration be cancelled fourteen (14) days before the day of the training, a 50% cancellation charge will be imposed. If cancellation is made seven (7) days before the training, full payment of the training will be levied. Please note that amendments can only be made to the above arrangement by giving a minimum of three (3) working days’ notice. Additionally, a 30% upfront payment is required via Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) or bank transfer.
