This programme explores how understanding personalities through the NLP Representation System can significantly enhance communication effectiveness.

Module 3: Understanding Personality & Communication Styles 

  • How personality influences communication styles and preferences
  • Introduction to Representation Systems

Module 4: Understanding Your Communication Preference 

  • Overview of NLP Representation Systems (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic)
  • Identifying your dominant representation system

  • Structuring messages using the “Triage Model” (Must-say, Nice-to-say, Don’t-say)
  • Prioritising key messages for different stakeholders

Day 2 – Listening, Rapport & Practical Application 

Module 6: Active Listening Skills 

  • Understanding active and empathetic listening

  • Identifying barriers to effective listening 
  • Role-play practice with feedback 

Module 7: Clarity in Conversations 

  • Spotting vague or distorted statements in conversations
  • Asking precise and clarifying questions 
  • Using the Questioning Model 
  • Staying calm and professional in emotionally charged situations

Module 8: Building Rapport Using NLP 

  • Importance of rapport in communication 
  • NLP techniques: mirroring, matching, and pacing 
  • Verbal and non-verbal rapport building 

Module 9: Constructive Feedback & Growth Conversations 

  • Giving and receiving feedback constructively 
  • Using specific and actionable language 
  • Encouraging growth and development through supportive feedback 

Module 10: Scenario Sharing & Solution Building 

  • Sharing real-life workplace communication challenges
  • Group discussion on root causes and emotional triggers
  • Applying NLP and feedback techniques to propose solutions
  • Presentation of alternative phrases, behaviours, and approaches

Cancellation & Transfer

Please note that should this registration be cancelled fourteen (14) days before the day of the training, a 50% cancellation charge will be imposed. If cancellation is made seven (7) days before the training, full payment of the training will be levied. Please note that amendments can only be made to the above arrangement by giving a minimum of three (3) working days’ notice. Additionally, a 30% upfront payment is required via Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) or bank transfer.
