Objectives 

Conflict is a natural part of any workplace, but when not effectively managed, it can hinder productivity, damage relationships, and impact overall team morale. This two-day training course focuses on equipping participants with essential conflict resolution skills to promote a harmonious work environment. Participants will learn strategies and techniques to identify, address, and resolve conflicts, fostering open communication, collaboration, and a positive workplace culture. 

Target Audience 

All levels of staff including senior and mid-managers, supervisors, executives, frontline staff and those who seek to improve their professional skills in business communication.

  • Nonverbal communication and its impact on conflict resolution
  • Active listening techniques to promote understanding 

Module 4: Problem-Solving Approaches 

  • Applying problem-solving techniques to conflicts 
  • Identifying underlying interests and needs 
  • Generating creative options for resolution 

Day 2:

Module 5: Emotional Intelligence in Conflict Resolution 

  • Understanding emotions and their role in conflicts 
  • Managing personal emotions during conflicts 
  • Empathy and building rapport to diffuse tension 

Module 6: Collaboration and Negotiation 

  • Collaborative approaches to conflict resolution 
  • Building consensus and reaching win-win outcomes 
  • Negotiation techniques for mutually beneficial resolutions

Module 7: Preventing and Resolving Workplace Conflicts 

  • Strategies for preventing conflicts in the workplace 
  • Early intervention and conflict management techniques
  • Mediation and facilitation skills 

Module 8: Developing a Conflict Resolution Action Plan 

  • Identifying personal areas for growth in conflict resolution
  • Creating an action plan for implementing conflict resolution strategies
  • Applying conflict resolution skills in real-life scenarios

Cancellation & Transfer

Please note that should this registration be cancelled fourteen (14) days before the day of the training, a 50% cancellation charge will be imposed. If cancellation is made seven (7) days before the training, full payment of the training will be levied. Please note that amendments can only be made to the above arrangement by giving a minimum of three (3) working days’ notice. Additionally, a 30% upfront payment is required via Human Resource Development Corporation (HRDC) or bank transfer.
